Satish, the grand nephew of Machani Somappa, is the Managing Director of Stumpp Schuele & Somappa Springs (SSSS) and all subsidiaries of the group. Under his leadership, the SSS group has grown into a multi-business enterprise with over INR 600 Cr in manufacturing turnover and INR 1200 Cr in consolidated revenues while clocking an annual growth rate of 15%. The company is today the largest manufacturer of high quality springs for several verticals in India and has established a prominent footprint with plants in 10 locations across India and the United States. Satish continues to work with state and central government agencies, auto industry lobbies and international OEMs to promote the stature of Indian R&D and design across multiple elements of the manufacturing supply chain. His efforts have been realised by international partners like Mitsubishi, Murata, Togo, Mutitech, Daewon, etc. As the chief mentor of SSS Defence, Satish has essayed a stellar role in the vision and direction of the firm that opened new vistas. The organisation was inculcated with a startup mindset that prioritised home grown R&D, compliance to global standards and agility in addressing customer requirements. Satish holds a Masters in Industrial Engineering from Bradley University, Peoria. He is a sommelier in training and an avid golfer and athlete.

Vivek has over 18 years of experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital and Corporate Finance straddling leadership and entrepreneurial roles. He has a highly successful track record of engaging with founding teams at early stage ventures and guiding their transition through critical points of growth. Aerospace, Defence, Infrastructure and Real Estate are domains that he has actively worked on in addition to functional expertise in general management, business development, acquisition finance, M&A, joint venture integrations, transaction structuring, due diligence and risk management. Vivek has held leadership positions at Sage Capital, GE Capital India and the Asia growth markets platform of GE Real Estate. He has invested in and managed a PE and credit portfolio of over $800 Million and advised on transactions worth over $1 Billion. He is also an avid blogger, a long distance runner and a triathlete.
